Show Summary
A sexy hit show about a husband and wife that explored
what it meant to be newly married and simply in love.
Paul Buchman was a neurotic, excitable documentary
filmmaker and his wife Jamie a smart and impulsive
public relations executive. Living in a Manhattan high-
rise, they bickered constantly, but lovingly, sharing
both the big events and the trivia of day-to-day life.
Sharing their world were Lisa, Jamie's luckless single
sister; Jay (first season), Paul's bachelor-slob friend;
and Dr. Mark David Devanow and his wife Fran.
Fran and Mark divorced after the first season.
Ira was Paul's self-confident cousin, and
Murray was the Buchman's indolent dog.
